Does anyone take soft chew multi-vitamins &/or others - not gummies? I understand we don't absorb the gummies due to our need for some dry vitamins however I recently started Bariatric Advantage chewy bites. They're awesome but I'd like to find something less expensive - has anyone found any other soft chew multivitamins or others?

Michael, the "DRY" thing is about water soluble versus oil based, not powder versus moist. So, I think that the part about gummies that make them less attractive as an option for us is that they are generally children's vitamins, so:
1. We need to be aware of what kind of sugar and how much we're getting with those gummies, and; 2. Can we, as DSers, get adequate amounts of the necessary vitamins in a gummy?
Here's my opinion: As soon as a newly post-op DSer can take adult vitamins, they should probably start to do that. I'm not going to look on the innerwebs to see if I'm right, but, my guess is that there is no way that you can get 50,000 IUs of vitamin D in gummy form. THAT's the problem with gummies.

Chewables and anything from Bariatric Advantage don't contain enough of anything for DS patients.
You should be taking a centrum or equivalent multi vitamin and separate A and D from Biotech.
If your unable to take tablets/capsules it's probably too early start vitamins. Your body should have sufficient stores to last you a few weeks post op until you can start to take the appropriate vitamins for the DS.
There is no way to skirt taking proper vitamins with the DS. Don't waste your money on Bariatric Advantage junk.

I'm taking the multivitamins from BA that are chewy and the chewable tablet high dose ADEK from BA - I'm at the levels the doctor gave me yet it's only been 1 month - so I guess I'll find out at 3 months when I have my blood work. I just like the taste of the soft chew vitamins more. Costco has an Adult's gummy but I didn't buy it because I understood we can't absorb the vitamins in gummy form but per BA their soft chews are fine for DSers

Kyal is absolutely correct so ignore your Dr's advice on that one. I take 100,000 IU daily of A and D. As well as two centrum men's 50 + , 6-8 calcium and 2 400 mg E daily.

Can we do sub-lingual vitamins? B12 come in sublingual, but I found I didn't need them and I was high on B12 so I stopped.

I already take D's in sublingual. They are 5000ius each. So sublingual is ok? I prefer that method!

Can we do sub-lingual vitamins? You need to take B-12's sub-lingually. When swallowed, it requires stomach acid to be absorbed. With our smaller stomachs and limited acid, most of it would end up in your toilet. It is absorbed by everyone more readily under the tongue. Nothing else you take should be sublingual.

Vitalady sells 50K of D and 25K of A. You can also find them on Amazon.
Most of us have not had any success with BA vitamins. Combos simply don't work. For example my A is high, E is normal, but K and A are low. If I took a combo I would still have to supplement but would still have issues with high A.
I realize taking a combo is convenient but it just doesn't work for the majority of DSers. You're still fairly early out. Wait until your 3-month labs to see where you are and then you can make a decision of what is best for you.

I take my vitamin C as a chewable (Kirkland) and I know centrum has a chewable regular multi but they are more expensive than the regular centrum.

That D is not dry. Note the acacia gum in the ingredients. That's the same stuff they use to make gummies. I have never heard of sublingual dry D3.
