For the holidays??? If not, it's gonna be here in less than 48 hours and you may as well sit back and relax!.
What are your plans?
My husband and I are going up tomorrow evening to spend the evening with a friend. Sunday will be spent here at home...and we head to his mom's next week.

The kids are coming here for Santa. We have a brand new pink tricycle waiting for DGD#1. She will haul DH outside to play and I'll fix a big breakfast for everyone. We usually splurge and have link sausages and blueberry pancakes. I fix a batch of gluten free pancakes for me that I sneak in to the regular batch and nobody can tell the diff. We'll probably go through an entire stick of butter. lol

Hi Ladies We decided to go up to the local mountains since it would be too hard to do our normal Christmas routine. I think we can make the most of it, especially for my boys. We just got up here and put up a smaller tree and owners of the cabin left some Christmas decorations out for us so it is already looking pretty festive. Now let's talk about the food! My mom brought a honey baked ham and an awesome looking slab of beef (prime rib). It is going to be one huge food fest, at least that hasn't changed too much. Now I have to finish up the Mexican food for tomorrow night. I was going to try and make some sugar free egg nog but forgot to bring my Erythritol. We only brought a pound of butter so it is pretty obvious we are going to have to make a market run really soon. gina - I think I want to come to your house for xmas, I would love a pink bike Liz - it sounds like you and your hubby will be having a nice relaxing Christmas.

Gail,
Do tell, what is a 4 month christmas stocking? I also want to know what type of cookies you are making. This year I tried all new recipes I found via Pinterest, so far the popular vote is on the Red Velvet Cookies.

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!!!
My husband and I have been driving all day, back north to Mi from visiting his mom in Orlando. I was nailed with a speeding ticket in Georgia, along with 7 others by 5 police cars in a speed trap. Resting at a hotel tonight 1/2 way home. Driving 10 more hrs or more tomorrow!! Celebrating Christmas with our 2 kids New Years at our house. I have an extra week to wrap gifts, haven't begun to decorate either. Thankful for a week of 80 degree dry weather during our much needed vacation, our first in a very long time. New to restaurant eating post D.S., experimented with a more varied choice of foods. Better experience than expected!! I have been very good Santa, had only one SF chocolate ice cream cone the whole week!! ;-) Sandra
