For a good water bottle, I am fond of my CamelBak Better Bottles -- camelbak.com/Sports-Recreation/Bottles/Better-Bottle-75L.aspx . If your water tastes a little funky, there's the Camelbak Groove - camelbak.com/Sports-Recreation/Bottles/CamelBak-Groove-6L.aspx . I have one of those for work because the water there smells like a swimming pool. You might not have the concentration to focus on books in the hospital, but afterwards, books are always awesome. What do you like to read? Let me recommend you some books (it's what I do, after all). And if you want visitors in the hospital, let me know. I am local to U of M.

I would suggest a kindle for your reading material. You can visit the website below for free kindle books. I have yet to pay for any books for my kindle. Good luck with everything. www.pixelofink.com/

Sweet! Thanks for the links! This list is really for the first 6 weeks, I figured the books would be after I got home. . I love to read fantasy, science fiction, thrillers, mysteries... I just finished the first book in the Hunger Games and can't wait to get my hands on the second book

Crisco, I picked up my first water bottle a couple of days ago at the Edina Super Target. They are all on sale/clearance this week. I got a nice stainless steel Thermos brand 24 oz. hydration bottle (perfect for schelping along with me to the health club). It looks something like this: www.google.com/products/catalog?q=stainless+steel+thermos+hydration+bottle+24&hl=en&safe=off&prmd=imvns&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.,cf.osb&biw=1600&bih=767&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=12887274676598356836&sa=X&ei=xIgKT9-zEcPgggfooYWGAg&ved=0CGwQ8wIwAA They also had the Camelbacks on sale like EJ suggested and the prices were good. Look back in the sporting goods/exercise area if you want to check them out.
