Please see below for Gail's original announcement of her need for surgery. I just spoke to her son. The doctor said everything went very well and she just needs to recover now. I'm so relieved! Please continue to keep Gail in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Thank you SO much for posting this! I'm so glad to hear the surgery went smoothly and that she has her son with her who sounds like an excellent caregiver. I had been checking for news today.
