So after this last 3 week hell in the hospital I couldn't mentally handle anymore time in the hospital. So I got to come home yesterday and had a very uncomfortable night.
However this morning there was leakage from around my feeding tube. I have a home nurse and she called the clinic and they said to come in. It just wasn't possible today so I went to my closest ER and met the most ignorant Dr ever. He refused to do anything because he wasn't getting involved in another Dr. S issues.
So I came back home and my aunt is going to take me to st joes tomorrow morning. They have to understand it needs to be fixed tomorrow cause I can't handle more time in the hospital.
The stint in my stomach to block any leakage is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever had to deal with. It has been 2 mths now when will it get better?

I'm would be worn out too. You have really been through the mill. Feeling bad right now is justified. I would be howling to the docs if I were in your situation.
Is there anyway you can get to St. Joe's today? I would ask your aunt if you can go now.
Are you on any pain medication? I'm sure you are, so keep taking it until this painful stuff resolves. I wish I knew more about it, but I really don't, but I do know you are miserable and you should really take care of yourself sooner rather than later. There is no need to suffer.
The only thing I can suggest with the stint is to try different positions. I'm sure you have done that, but even trying moving from the bed to a chair, sofa or recliner if you have one.
I do know that time is a great healer and you are currently miserable form being in pain. I would be too. Take deep breaths and see if you can get to St. Joe's tonight. Don't wait.
Here's a cyber hug to you. Hang in there sweetie. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

I am very sorry you are having such a hard time, but yes it is going to get better. I know you are frustrated and hurting but it sure sounds like you need to be in a good hospital getting quality care. Hopefully you can get some relief soon.

Yes I did get to the hospital on Friday. They think because this is my third feeding tube the hole in my bowel is stretched and the feeding pressure was too high. So I caused it to leak out the feeding tube. All they did was reduce my feeding rate meaning in 24hrs I'm only getting 500 ml now instead of 710.
