What a fantastic week! On Thursday, my scale said I was out of the 200's and at 199!! I never thought I would get here and I'm so happy. To all the amazing people who are helping me on my journey, THANK YOU! You will never know how much it means to me that you all take your time to answer all my questions, even the silly ones, and provide reassurance that I am doing things the right way. No price can be put on the advice you provide.
On a good note, I had my three month post-surgical appointment and have been cleared for everything, including tennis! I go back to playing tomorrow night and will up my protein to about 170 to compensate for the vigorous exercise. I'll also take it easy as I start out.
Again, THANK YOU for your involvement, encouragement, and support.
Love, Kelly
PS - have a great week!

As they say down here in Texas, I'm just SO "tickled" about this milestone of yours, Kelly! Congratulations. I'm proud of you and happy for you.
Take it easy getting ramped back up into your game. You've got plenty of time and LOTS of other players to beat! Enjoy every minute of it!

Good job Kelly! I am right behind you. Sometime in the couple weeks I am hoping to hit that milestone. Did Dr. G draw labs? I am happy that you are going to be back at playing tennis. When will we see you at Wimbledon?

Thanks, illinids, Monica, Robs477, Cindy, and bboop! Monica and Cindy, I love to play! Jim and I went out yesterday afternoon just to make sure I could do it. I have some work ahead of me, three months without playing is showing! Can't wait for tonight, though... Robs477, that's a good hijack, I was so happy to see he was okay, too!
Cindy, Dr. G. gave me a script to get bloodwork. He said not to get it done until after December 4, though. That being said, my regular doctor has me scheduled for a blood test November 9 to check on the diabetes (which I think are gone!) Jim and I paid for the Christmas party while I was there so we are definitely going. I'll post the picture either later today or tomorrow because I have to download it!
Have a great week everyone, Kelly

Sharyl, as silly as it sounds, I can't wait to look good playing! Last night my outfit was so big that it got in my way. Thanks you for your always thoughtful comments and advice. I'll be happy to post some pictures when I get some new sexy tennis wear!!
