..at least once a day? Or am I still too new to be worried about it yet? Yes, this is a poop question. I get about 50-60 grams of protein a day, still trying to up my water (hovering around 40+ oz a day). But I don't poop everyday. In fact, I seem to have stayed the same way I was before my DS...about 1-2 times every 2-3 days. I hate to give ya'll a case of TMI, but I read that post (and the answers) that Diana Cox wanted people to try to help, and I realized I appear to be abnormal. Of course, anyone who knows me would say that anyway

I generally go every other day unless something messes with my gut. Then I might have a catch-up experience of a number of poos in a row...

Thanks Elizabeth, I feel better now. It may increase after I get more protein in, but I had read many posts where people had mentioned they went at least once a day.

Yeah, you're still so fresh out, it's not like you're taking much in to have that much to get rid of .

When I was early out, I didn't poop every day. I do now, but it's still normally just once a day. As you get further out, you'll settle into your own patterns

It took me 10 days post op to have my first real poo. I don't go every day very often at 8 weeks out and it is more like every 2-3 days. At first I thought I was just constipated, and perhaps I am, but when I do go, it isn't difficult so maybe I just have lazy guts. I think you are doing just fine.

I was like that, too, until I started eating more.

I go two or three times daily. My major morning clean out, then early evening and late evening, depending on how much and what I eat.
I eat a LOT of food, and it must go somewhere.
If I am away, without know bathroom facilities, I will cut way back on food to reduce the need to go

At over 2 years out, I go pretty much once a day. If I skip a day or The Diva waits until evening, I hurt.

Hiya, I'm 9 weeks out... until I up'd the amount of fat I was eating I was only going once every couple of days, now it's usually once a day. Needed to up my fat level to deal with the effects of the calcium and iron supplements. As long as you don't feel uncomfortable and you're not in pain from not going, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm 2 1/2 years out, and like EN, I pretty much go every other day. If I eat a lot more than usual, or eat crap I shouldn't, then I go more, maybe twice a day tops. I sometimes go even 2-3 days, and that's my limit- on the 3rd day, I'll take measures to ensure it happens.
