Ok let me start by saying I know I should have asked. My Dr. called today to talk about my up coming surgery. Well when he was talking my daughter decided she wanted my attention, she's 4. Anyway he was talking about creating an abdominal flap inside to help support what he's changing in case I have an issue. I'm not sure he said abdominal flap and I don't know for sure what it is exactly its supposed to do. Can anyone help me on this one? Thanks all

Why not just call him back and explain that you'd been distracted by your little girl and ask him that question?

I wouldn't hesitate to call him back and I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Most doctors prefer their patients to have a complete understanding of what the surgery entails. I wish I could answer your question but I haven't the slightest idea what he meant in the context you described.
