Well I just got a call from my PCP and all of my labs are normal except one. Sodium is very low 130. I have been given permission to eat a very sodium heavy diet. I have been released for surgery with the exception (get sodium up)!
I was so worried as I had RNY 10 years ago and have not been consistent with lab work. Partially because I am a very hard stick. Rollie pollie veins. It is not uncommon for me go 2 or three times (4 sticks each time) and still not be successful. Hematoma's galore.
One less stressor!

Congratulations on getting closer.
Oh, I feel you on the blood work. The only way they can stick me is if I am well hydrated. I have blood work in the morning, with fasting. Since my surgery (six weeks) I don't well with an empty stomach.
