It seems to me that we have some new people in this area, although some reports have not been substantiated.
If you would, could you please comment on which surgeons are CURRENTLY doing or TRAINING to do RNY->DS revisions?
This is an important area for people with RNYs. It is, sadly, a growth area for surgeons, as well.
Who has had or is having a revision of this type and with which surgeon?
I was a "failed" RNY, who was only so happy to get revised for complications (not lack of weight loss). ANYTHING was better than my complications, even a revision to "normal" anatomy, which I wished for as well.

Dr. Steven Simper of Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians (RMAP) in Salt Lake City, UT did my RNY to DS revision. I also believe that I heard that possibly Drs. McKinlay and/or Smith of RMAP MIGHT be starting to perform the RNY to DS too, but I am not 100% certain on this. Knowing what I know now, Id still choose Dr. Simper.

Please feel free to do the research and share your list with us. We have already created a helpful questionnaire you can use: weightlosssurgery.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=talk&thread=4331&page=1#75560

Dr. Sudan does band to DS revisions, but I don't think he does RNY to DS revisions.
