I am home on day 14. Beautiful Sunday morning in Northern CA, and I'm drinking coffee with soy milk and checking email and feeling like a normal human, well almost. But pretty darn good. Everything is returning to a liveable normal state, big improvements daily. I am actually looking forward to this new life! The scale is already down 13 pounds. When I think of how I would have had to FIGHT and STARVE off those 13 pounds just a short time ago. Every time I get on the scale I say my new little prayer to the universe, "Please help my body return to it's natural state." I feel it coming!

Wonderful news! Now that you're feeling almost normal, it would be a great time to focus on vitamins and increasing protein. So happy your recovery is going well!

Wait until your clothes start getting too big, you can go jogging, cheesecake with extra cream and bacon is health food. Then you will begin to understand just how awesome the DS is.

Every time I get on the scale I say my new little prayer to the universe, "Please help my body return to it's natural state." I feel it coming! Two weeks, you've made it through the first post-op trenches You sound very blissful, zen, it's great; I particularly love how you phrased this, beautifully said. Keep up the great work and keep the updates coming.
