I got my Letter....Wow, they approved me:)

I just recieved a letter from BCBS
Wow, I don't know what to think. For the past 3 months, all I have done is worry myself sick about getting approval for removal of my crappy band and a DS. . I just opened my letter and it is an approval. Now, I have to come up with the money ($6,500.00).

I thought I would be jumping for joy, but now I am thinking about the operation. I really am feeling a little scared. Can I do this...This is all I have wanted for a long time.. I feel I have wasted over 35 years being fat. What will it be like? Can I handle the vitamins for the rest of my life...

Is this normal? I have to call the Dr's office tomorrow and find out what is next. I haven't lost the weight they want me to lose before the surgery. My boss will not let me do this until the last week of September...But, I need to see what my Dr's schedule is. Who knows, I might have to wait longer.

Now I have to make a list... Thank-You Lord!!

First off-congrats!

Secondly, a little worry is normal for any surgery I would think. You're looking at the beginning of a huge lifestyle change.
