As soon as I get rid of the chocolate pecan pie in my fridge, I'm totally with you. edited to add: and get through my daughter's birthday party on the 1st. I'm gonna need sugar to help gird my loins with a houseful of squeeling children. [glow=red,2,300]LUSTFUL DROOLING....[/glow]To add insult to injury, it's Surly Chocolate Pecan Pie (Surly is a local beer manufacturer that specializes in dark, yummy beers). I really have it in for myself. Luckily, hubby took the rest of the pie AND the rest of the birthday cupcakes into work with him today. I plan on using my time after work to complete the purge of all the tempting carbs. Today I have been virtuous with my 2 double-scoop protein shakes and tuna salad. ( And only one cupcake.)

I've been a bit of a carb slut the past week, so I'm with you. Come 1/2/12, back to the all protein all the time. After my most recent surgery, I was really on the low carb bandwagon. Anything with white flour gives me the most heinous explosive shits of far more mass than the food I eat, so I wanted to minimize any stress on the surgery site (my bum - had a deadly fissure). Lo, the weight began to fly off, so I kept eating very low carb and lost another 20 pounds. Then we went to Australia, then I got sick, lazy, and pitiful. And then my neighbor brought over a huge tray of delicious and deadly home made Christmas cookies. After picking out all the really good ones, I pitched the rest yesterday. *sigh* Charlee I inadvertently hit the smite button below your post when I was trying to go to page 2 from my phone. Sorry I'll see if Kelly can fix that boo boo. Again I apologize.

I am with you as well. Too many simple carbs over a three month period and I have gained weight. I need to get back to basics I do not want to be over 200 pounds again. I still have a couple of things in my cupboards, but will leave them for my husband. except I will share the huge Reeses Peanut Butter Cups with him. It still has protein. But seriously I am needing to get serious again,
