So I am still in SLC for another week because I don't trust my local doctors if any complications arise. I was very surprised at a week out I have lost 14lbs. I did not expect that since I still have some bloating going on. I am keeping tack weekly of my weight because I am keeping a spreadsheet on my progress. I think when I hit goal and seeing all the data I collected, it will just mind boggling!
Also I am almost getting in all my liquids in a day. It's a struggle but I am pounding those sippy cups. I am also getting very tiny meals in. Chzy scrambled eggs was like a rock on me so I strayed from that so far. Everything else has gone pretty dang good. I had my first 'solid' bowl movement today!! Woo hoo! I also couldn't handle the narcotics so I did this journey on Tylenol. As of right now I am not on anything for pain but I only have mild discomfort when I walk. Anyways I must go, talk to you all soon. I can't wait to get home.

Sorry I didn't pass along the new link, I wasn't sure how ready you were to get another place to check. Take care, babeeee!

Glad you're doing so well Danni and welcome to the Dark Side! You must have a high tolerance for discomfort/pain to be able to go through recovery on Tylenol. Loratab was my best friend that first 2 weeks out. :-)

You are doing wonderful!
I also left the hospital after an open DS with nothing but Tylenol. I wasn't in much pain at all, though.
Happy to hear that you are pounding the sippy cup! Keep it up!
Glad to see you made it over here!

Congratulations. I am so happy that you are on the road to good health. I could only tolerate Tylenol as well, so my sympathies. I hope you are forcing yourself to get up and walk around. I know how hard it is. But it gets better really quickly and I was even off Tylenol in a few days.
