I haven't been on here lately however I have been approved. I have gone through a lot of indecision with having this surgery. I know it the right thing for me though. Guess its the normal doubt everyone gets. I know I also have one of the best surgeons in the US Dr Stewart.
I will have my EGD done this Friday. What are they looking for with this? April 25th is my big day. I know I will have lots of changes to look forward too. Ok I will stop rambling.

Congrats!
My less than adequate medical knowledge thinks it's basically looking for anything that might cause a problem with surgery, like an ulcer. Anyone with more information than that, please chime in.

Hi there! I'm not sure if I know your story or not, but congrats on your approval. What are you revising from and to, can you include your stats in your signature?
Agreed, they'll do an EGD to best see what's going on down in your abdominal area, it's the way they insert a camera so they can 'see' pictures. Different tests show different things. Don't be shy about asking all the questions you want, but we'll all be able to better help you if we know your stats (which surgery, with whom, start weight especially)

I'm going from sleeve to DS. I have Dr Stewart as my surgeon for the revision. Right now my weight is at 238-241 depending on the day.

Good work on getting approved and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I'm sure all of us have some doubts now and then, it is after all life changing surgery. If you don't have scond thought you probably don't fully understand what you are doing.

Super easy - go to the black buttons at the top of the page, click proflile. Then you'll see an option at the top of the the page to Modify Profile. Click that, will take you to your profile where you can personalize it, scroll down and you'll see the signature box, fill in your stats there.
