Had anyone had any experience getting a revision from him? What were your experiences?
Thank you

I went to Ungson for a revision to a DS. Did not get that revision instead he gave me a bpd. Not at all what you want. I think Ungson is a good surgeon but revisions not everyone can do. Please consider different surgeon.

He's an excellent surgeon, but I've never heard him referenced as a revision surgeon.

wildorchid,
I wanted to know what your original surgery type was before you went to Dr. Ungson. I am considering going to him for a revision from RNY to DS. I have contact his assistant Luz and she says that he has done about 15 of these type of revision surgeries.
I've heard nothing but good things about him, but have not spoke to anyone who has had the RNY to DS revision with him.

April,
I know the cash pay price back in March of 2011 for Dr. Keshishan was $11,000.00 for his surgeon's fee. And it was $17,500.00 for a 4 days stay at Verdugo Hills Hospital, for a total of $28,500.00.............. for RNY to DS revision.

Please consider different surgeon. Have you confirmed this with another surgeon? I know that he was in the habit of calling the DS the BPD/DS back when I had my surgery. Do you have a copy of your scans or surgical report? Not that I don't believe you, but there is room for confusion here.
