I went to my general doctor today and I was anxious to get on the scales but I got disappointed quick. I only have lost 5 lbs in two weeks. Is this because I have started solid foods or is that about average? I have been following my diet and exercising as much as possible!

It might help give a point of reference if you had your surgery info in your post or your signature. If youre about 1 month out, your body could be readjusting still so I wouldnt panic.

I think 29lbs for 5 weeks is still awesome! Did you take your measurements...Ive also read that if the scale doesnt seem to be going down to take your measurements because often times youll be losing in inches even when youre not losing pounds so that might be another way to check your progress....dont worry though, Youre doing great!

Try not to get too caught up with the numbers on the scale. You are doing great!

Thanks, yeah my surgeon told me it will show in my size before it does the scale. I am really starting to tell a difference now
