I have orthostatic hypotension aka postural hypotension, aka i stand up and get super dizzy, no matter how slowly i stand up, it just happens.
It seemed to have significantly improved, but now during TOTM it is worse than ever.
I am drinking fluids, all types of fluids, water, sugar free soda, seltzers, milk ,etc, i know it can get worse with dehydration but I am not dehydrated, i am at 70oz at a minimum.
I would like to know if anyone experiences this being worse during TOTM and if in the LONG RUN does this go away? I know it is very common with all weight loss surgery but is it going to be this way for life?

I don't know about the TOTM, but mine was really bad post-op till about mo 6-7 or so. I still get it from time to time, and have never been dehydrated. I have learned to compensate at times by squeezing my butt/thigh muscles as I stand when I feel it happening. It cuts it short.. During the worst of it, cleaning cat litter would almost make me pass out when I stood upright again.. ugh.

According to my PCP and Hematologist, they feel that mine is linked to my low iron levels. Don't know if this will get better are we raise my levels but I hope so.
