Well I received a call from Dr. Roslin office today, and the person that handles getting the papers together for the insurance company told me the letter she received from my nutritionist is excellent, and not to worry about the 38.8 BMI because that was back in 2010 and now my BMI is sadly at 41.9. What she did say is that although I was going to the medical nutritionist since 1994 until 2010 it is not stated that I went a consecutive 6 months, I would go for three months then stop and pick it back up. I explained to her that I did it that way because the medication that was prescribed to me by the nutritionist sometimes made me sick so I would give my body a rest and then go back. She stated that she understood but the insurance company (although a revision) may still want to see six consecutive months. I then told her that on Monday my PCP is also going to write a letter of recommendation and see what else he can do. She said she was going to send the papers through to the insurance company because I may get lucky and they may approve it but, if I could get that letter from my doctor stating my co morbidity (high blood pressure) that would be even better but the choice is mine as to whether I want her to send it now or wait, I decided to wait until I get the letter from my PCP. She then suggested that since I am doing this I might as well start the six month process with my PCP just in case *sighs* although Dr. Roslin will go to bat for his patients with peer to peer etc. I don't know how to feel about this news

It's just part of the process. Almost everyone has to go through it so you might as well just bite the bullet and do it. It doesn't mean it will actually take that long, but in case it does, you've started the ball rolling as quickly as you possibly could. Don't waste any precious time waiting around to see what might happen; just start the 6 month diet now. Six months will go by really fast anyway.

I know and your right I'm starting the process on Monday but now another demon thought entered my mind what if they say it's no mechanical failure or I was not compliant because I did stop the fills because I was tired of getting sick, like that helped SMh. Anyway so happy to see you here, how are you doing?
