I know that this is just the beginning, but I am so stinking excited! I have an appointment on my spring break. The office staff told me to bring all of my paperwork with me, and I was so excited I didn't ask the deets. Lol
I am assuming I need to take:
Proof of 6 month diet Sleep study results Most recent labs List of all prescriptions
What else am I forgetting? I have my month 5 diet check up tomorrow! I am so pumped.
Thank you all for posting, I read everything (except the R&R bc I don't have 100 posts or the password yet) and have learned so much from all of you. Thank you.

Welcome! I'm local to Anthone, as are a few others here. PM me if you'd like to meet up for coffee or something sometime! Edited to add- I've met with Anthone a few times, and I'm very impressed with him, as well as his NP Cara. Their office's nurse educators, not so much. Don't let 'em ram RNY vitamin crap down your throat. Cara is awesome at getting us, as long as you can explain why you're doing something differently from what they teach.

Congratulations! I don't know what Anthone requires, but I would call and find out what you can get ahead of time, that way you have all your ducks in a row. I'm happy for you.

I think super highly of Dr. Anthone, except, he makes the common channel much longer than I wanted, and he makes the sleeve smaller than I wanted. I have seen that some of his patients wish they had more malabsorption. I, personally, am glad that my common channel is not longer than 100 cm. Of course, there are others who want the configuration that he does.
I thought you were going with Dr. Stewart -- did that not work out?

When I thought I was self-pay, Stewart was my choice. Now that my insurance covers WLS, and Dr A is an in-network provider, I chose him.

Very cool that you won't have to self-pay and that Dr. A. is in-network! I'm excited for you.
