Just a little PSA to point out that things can change fast. Don't wait a long time between lab draws. I am almost 9 months out, so I have been doing labs every 3 months to keep track of everything. I have been taking my vites religiously and admittedly not drinking my protein shakes every day. I thought I was getting enough with the food I was eating. I am starting to get my results back and a few things are taking a nosedive. My D has decreased from 116 to 69 in 6 months. I have been taking 50,000 a day of dry D3. My Total protein, prealbumin and albumin levels have all decreased (although still on the low end of normal). My Ferritin has nosedived from 92 after my infusion at the end of August to 59 today. I should slowly get the rest next week. Looks like I have some tweaking to do. Just remember that things can change fast and it is easier to correct it before you get in the shitter!

Good advice. Sound like you caught things in time.

Yeah, I am pretty OCD about it. So far I haven't had any issues with insurance paying for labs...hopefully that will not change.

I think that also proves that most times things will not show up right away but "later", like 9 month to a year or later. Our vitamin/mineral stores get used up first before it starts to show in the blood work.
