Today's gameplan:
Meal 1 - couple of slices deli meat (early with iron) Meal 2 - protein shake Meal 3 - 2 hb eggs, 3 slices bacon with SF maple syrup Meal 4 - homemade turkey meatloaf with gravy (water, butter) Meal 5 - protein shake Meal 6 - a few oz of cheese
***broke my rule about buying/making too much of anything, used 6 hb eggs and made egg salad, and surprise, didn't like it! So it seems for now as much as I love omlettes and egg salad, the only way I can tolerate eggs for now is hard boiled.

Today for lunch I made the "pizza" someone posted on th OtHer site. A low-carb soft tortilla, add 2 teaspoons of tomato sauce of choice, pile on cheese. Heat a skillet to medium and add a little (or a lot) of butter.
Place loaded tortilla onto skillet, cover and heat for 2 minutes to melt cheese.
Mine was so good and crunchy. Total protein (of mine) was 24 grams, 12 carbs.
Dinner will be smothered pork chops.

I made a roast in the crock pot yesterday, and had the leftovers for lunch. Tonight will be Chicken Cordon Bleu. Breakfast is always a protein shake because I'm way too lazy to cook in the morning!

I am going to eat some buffalo chicken wings for dinner with a ton of bleu cheese dressing.. because I can Right??!! ;D LOVE bleu cheese! I was reading a recipe on the board here for buffalo chicken chili which sounds great, and I SO would top it with bleu cheese. Beth - that lo-carb pizza recipe looked so good, I love my lo-carb tortillas and use them for a million things. Anna - pot roast? Cordon Bleu? YUM! If you come back here, what else do you put in your pot roast? And so much for my gameplan, I'm having a struggle to eat day, I had bacon and a few bites of the egg salad and haven't been able to eat since, I WILL make sure I get in 2 protein shakes and water.

2 double scoop shakes, some cheese, and some chicken nuggets were my eats today. I was barely able to get down the chicken. I am just not feeling food today after yesterday's bout with the dreaded constipation. Here's hoping tomorrow might be a little better....

UGH! I have had a bottomless pit day! They are few and far between, but I feel like I just couldn't get enough in, kwim...
Meal 1: Protein shake 30g protein Meal 2: 3 eggs over easy with cheese 28g protein and coffee with heavy cream Meal 3: Olive Garden stuffed cheese pasta with beef (can't remember the name of it). I finished ALL the beef and half the pasta, oye! I also had some salad and tiramisu. Meal 4: samples at Costco...half potsticker, half sausage, small piece cheese filled crepe Meal 5: coffee with half and half and pringles Meal 6: mac and cheese
Yeah, I know, lots of carbs day. A little more today than most, but my body does require more carbs to behave. If I don't get enough, I don't lose. I usually stay around 175g.

EJ-you did good getting in protein with the shakes, it's a struggle for me today, I just don't want to eat/swallow anything!
Chicken enchilada lasagna, holy cow, that's sounds decadent! And it's one of those recipes you can switch up ingredients, give it a different taste, spin, thanks for posting!
Christina- know those bottomless pit days all too well. Tomorrow is a new day! I also can't go totally carb-less, I am going super low now in my early post-op time, but I need SOME for my body to move too.

Anna - pot roast? Cordon Bleu? YUM! If you come back here, what else do you put in your pot roast? I didn't put a thing in it but a couple tablespoons of Worchestershire sauce and soy sauce, and a half teaspoon of Dijon mustard. i cooked it on low all day long and it was wonderful! Very tender. I've been following the low-carb menu from E-mealz.com (which I've been meaning to start a separate thread about and still will when I get the chance!) and that was the recipe for the day. It called for veggies on the side: steamed broccoli and cauliflower sauted in oil with sliced mushrooms. The Cordon Bleu was nothing to write home about though. I ended up making chicken salad out of the leftovers.
