I just got back my one year labs, and while they could be worse, I'm not happy with the direction things are going......particularly since the things I do best as a DSer are takes my vitamins and eat my protein. Here's a link to my lab spreadsheet docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aq-hJ1B674-sdDF6UF90MllQQWJQR1BlZWRuVFUxWGc&hl=en_US#gid=0It also has a breakdown of what vitamins I've been taking by post-DS month, but here's a summary of what I'm currently doing. Totals Per DayVitamin A 150,000 IU Vitamin B-12 2,500 mcg Calcium 2,400 mg Vitamin E 1,600 IU Multi Vitamin/Mineral 2 B Complex 0.33 Zinc 100 mg Vitamin D3 100,000 IU Vitamin B-9 Folic Acid 1,200 mcg Magnesium Citrate 560 mg Vitamin C 1,000 mg Vitamin K-1 3,000 mg Vitamin K-2 50 mcg Copper 2 mg Tender Iron Capsule 300 mg Biotin 10,000 mcg After my last labs, I added K-2 and an additional batch of Calcium/Mag, but my Vitamin D, PTH, and Osteocalcin looks worse Any thoughts on what's going on with the numbers in my CBC this time? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

This is what*I* would do: Bump up my protein! I don't know how much you are getting in per day but whatever it is, it is not enough. Add another D3 for a total of 150,000iius. Try to take them away from food. Check your calcium label and make sure that you are getting 'elemental' calcium of at least 2400, I would throw in another dose. (also make sure you are taking the right amount per serving) Your CBC is showing signs of anemia. Could be protein related also. Talk to your Dr. about the CBC. How much fluids are you getting in? This is IMPORTANT, not only for hydration but for absorption of your vites. I may have missed something but that is what I would do for starters and get rechecked in 3 months. Good luck!

PS. Is your Cal mag from Vitalady? Read the label carefully, one of her cal-mags is listed at 300 but has 145 mgs of elemental calcium. Copy and paste label if you are not sure.

I'll start more strictly counting my protein again just to make sure I'm getting as much as I think I am. Now that you mention it, I may have slacked off a little on my water intake, so I can easily bump that back up. The calcium is 300 mg elemental per capsule, and I take two each time, so I think that part's accurate. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll start here and see if that helps! I'd also appreciate it if anyone else has any input.
