Hey Guys, so Today we are going to be kinda busy so I will be packing my little cooler full of deli meat, cheese cubes, fage yoghurt and an atkins protein shake. For dinner we are having Steak ums cooked with some bell pepper , onions, a ton of provolone all in a low carb wrap.
What are you planning to eat?

ohh, steak upms sounds so good. I have to go for my 3 months (actually I'm almost 4 months out but this is when I could get it into my schedule) post op check out in Grand Rapids. It's a little over 2 hours each way and the appointment is at 3, so I'll be geting home late. Think I'll throw some chicken into the slow cooker with some cream soup and cream cheese this morning so it's ready when I get home.

I've had a shake already for breakfast, have another one pre-prepped for lunch. I have a bunch of cheese in the fridge I will probably snack on. The big question mark is dinner. The husband and I are planning to go out to a coffee meeting with some friends tonight, so I am not sure if I should grab some leftovers at home or grab something on the way there. Trying to avoid fast food, though.
Must remember to KEEP PUSHING WATER. You'd think that being a year postop I'd know this... but no. 24 oz today so far.

Cooking a pork tenderloin roast in the crock, covered in sliced onions, seasonings, and mandarin orange juice. Add 3 tbsp soy sauce, and a jar of Marsala cooking sauce. The whole house smells fantastic!!!

Grilling steak for dinner for DH and me. Sometimes I get ready to eat and "I can't," so we'll see. On Rhodes evenings it's back to bacon and a shake.

I have a lot of pork and onions left over from EN's crock pot recipe. I am going to use it to make hot and sour soup with egg drop. I am going to be near Chinatown in Oakland and will buy a roast duck at one of their delis. They have very little meat and you mostly savor the skin and fat. LOL They shop it into small pieces for finger food. I can only think up something for dinner when I am hungry-otherwise I am a blank. I must be really hungry right now...

I'll be having steak slathered in a mushroom & gorgonzola sauce. I'm trying to keep the carbs low today - got my yearly checkup appointment with Rabkin tomorrow - so I'll forgo the potato skins I'd normally want with steak.

Hi Meredith, I see you are a D.Ser of Dr Kemmeters. Will you be attending the D.S. support group meeting the second Wed. of the month, which is tomorrow? I really like the opportunity to talk to Dr. K, he comes to this meeting. You had your surgery 2 weeks before me. I drive almost 2 hrs to get there too, from Kalamazoo, mi.
