I am approximately 18 month’s out from surgery. I have poop that is very long (continuous) and frequently stops up the commode. It’s very embarrassing when traveling. A friend suggested I travel with a plunger...lol! Any ideas about how to improve my poop consistency so it is in normal logs? Thanks in advance.

You need to get more fat into your diet. Add bacon, butter, olive oil, and cheese to everything.
Also take 500 mg of Magnesium Oxide daily.
It sounds as though you need to loosen things up to clear out your bowels.
Give yourself time in the morning to empty yourself out, say a good 20 minutes on the throne.
Hope this helps!
