Glad to hear how well you are doing! You are going to end up making many new holes in that belt. Especially if the neighbors have anything to say about it.

You certainly deserve credit for the effort you made pre-op, but all the scientific stats only count the pounds lost as a direct result of your surgery. If you want to be able to compare your progress with the published data, the weight you would use is the weight you were when they rolled you into surgery. So when it says average EWL 85%, those numbers are calculated from 406 in your case. If you use 446 as your starting weight in your ticker, you are going cause many men here to cry into their protein shakes that your rate of loss is so much more than theirs. Use whichever figure you prefer. You can create your own free ticker in the tools section here: weightlosssurgery.proboards.com/board/76/toolsClicking to open the thread will take you directly you the site. There is also a BMI calculator among other tools in that board. Let me know if you need any help, you can private message me if you prefer.

It sounds like you are doing really well. Lots will happen before Christmas. You will feel a totally different person by then.
Enjoy this slowing-down time. Soon the rest of the world will have to run to keep up.
When do you go back to work?
For many people, their stomach settles when they start with 1500mg Calcium Citrate. This month I changed to a fizzy powder. Can you believe it that regular Calcium Citrate is totally unavailable here in South Africa! Well, I have finally figured out why my guts are acting like I am two weeks post-op - That tasty fizzy drink gives me a total of 16g carbs and is full of "fibre" and "sorbitol" etc. I had to phone the manufacturer to get this information. So now it is slowly settling down to slightly more DS normal. I still cannot trust a fart though.

Shifty out I hear you, my brother. I had diarrhea for the first 4 months. Tried everything. Then it went away. If it is really bad, you might want to have your surgeon test you for C. Diff. Aside from that, you might just be one of the lucky few, like me, who has diarrhea a while. Then it goes away.
It's a good time of the year to be inside here in Texas, Shifty. It's HOT out there!

Shifty out Are you evacuating all liquid? Or are there some feces? If it is all liquid, you might have C-diff and will need an antibiotic. Definitely get to a doctor if that is the case. If your stools are just loose or pudding-like, that is completely normal at your stage of healing. As is the clenched butt speed waddle to the nearest bathroom urgency. That will fix itself over time. Eating solid food can help firm things up as does iron. On the bright side, I think it is safe to say that you have lost all your water weight.
