I will echo Sharyl. You are indeed very brave and focused. Hoping all goes well for you and you get the results you need.

Yes I know I ended up going with the reverse had it done on Monday. I t was done laporscopy and I'm healing well but tons of gas and burping. I'm on 2 protein sips a hour in tell I can get the gas to move I'm walking every 2 hours. but nothing moving the other way yet and having a issue with acid re flux. We made the 6 hr trip home yesterday and hoping things start moving soon so I can get at least some jello and broth down. It was nice for the first time in 6 mos I awoke to no nausea and my blood sugar levels are higher already.

I know you feel awful right now, but I am excited for you to start living without these nagging issues anymore caused by the RNY. You sure are a tough one...that 6 hour trip home must have been brutal. I'm happy to hear you are only having the normal, expected post-op troubles and it seems nothing more. Take it easy and get some rest. Thank you for checking in here to let us know how you are doing. Glad you are on the mend sunflowerloaf!

So glad you're home and starting your recovery! Keep on sipping and walking, and get your doc to prescribe or recommend something for the acid reflux. It will help a lot.
