First I need to thank my Doctor, husband, girlfriends, and family, for supporting me, each in their own particular special way. I needed them. This surgery changed my life. I am not as active here, because it is really a great focus for DS'ers, but I have really learned a lot here and put it to good use. Just my opinion I have to chosen to remain more private about my surgery, but I do "weigh in" on Sundays religiously.
I have regained my health, recovered from another problem, discovered during surgery, reduced 70 pounds, became active again, fit in airplane seats, fit in clothing I had packed away, renewed my sense of balance and hygiene, done heavy chores that weren't possible, gone to the gym, attended events, renewed old friendships, made new ones, and gained understanding of how sick I was & how lucky I am.
I experience utter joy daily. I'm truly grateful for every single breath of my new life. I wish you all continued Success and Great Joy.
Yay, Undoing!!! Hardly seems possible that an entire year has passed. You have done GREAT because finding JOY in each day is really what it's all about!!!! You are such a joy yourself and I am so happy for you. xoxoxoxo

Mazel tov, as my people say! What a wonderful post and attitude. Totally understand moving on from a support board, and I hope you do stop in periodically to share your journey, updates, it is so good to hear from people; plus you can never know just how many people you reach and touch with your story. You keep living life to the fullest, I'm bookmarking your post too for future inspiration!
