Just changed medical providers, so they insisted I do my labs all over again. I'd just had them done in September, 2011, but that was with another group so apparently THOSE don't count.

As anyone can tell, my weight has exploded--with drastic effect on my b/p, and my A1c is creeping up. I'm also seeing returns of knee problems. I'd gotten to a low of 203# in 2009, and then due to some major stresses in my life, I started ignoring what I needed to do for myself. I know this is all because I've neglected to use my tool along with exercise. I'm considering requesting a revision, but I want to make a concentrated effort to see if I can reverse these problems by recommitting myself to my health. If I'm not successful in six months, then I'll approach my PCP about further action.
I'm fortunate to be as healthy as I am, but I don't want to go back onto b/p meds, etc., so it's all up to me. I know I made up my mind to do this for myself in 2004, and I'm just as worthy of good health now as I was then.
Wish me luck, folks!
