I went and had my hair cut some and layered - I had it colored too, probably not good for it but I didn't think about it before now!!! Thanks for sharing your experiences with me, it's be interesting at best!!! I know what you mean about not apologizing for all things related to women, it's probably a habit!! Go get 'EM with the tampons - I wanna watch LOL!!! When I was around 3-4 years old, I saw my mother pull a tampon out of the linen closet. When I asked her what it was, she opened it up and blotted it on her lips. Told me it was a lipstick blotter. I wanted lipstick, too, so she gave me a couple of Chapsticks that I applied religiously. They were entertaining one night, I remember the living room full of people I didn't know. With the full attention of the room and wanting to impress everyone with what a "big girl" I was (in case they had other ideas) I expertly applied my Chapstick and then pulled out an opened tampon and began blotting. That's MY tampon story. ;D Oh, that's even a better tampon story - LOL!!!! I'm encouraged - I wouldn't cut it off now but maybe when I lose some more . . . I've been stuck for a while, losing maybe an average of less than a lb a week for a while - so I need to kick up the protein and get off my a$$!!!

I had lost ALL my hair, but mine too has been growing back at very different rates in different spots. I was trying to grow it out, but by the time it hit my shoulders, I couldn't stand it any more and recently had them cut it all off again to give it chance to grow in more evenly. But, I have to say, I am really starting to like this short hair. Here's a pic of me from last Saturday. (I'm the blonde): Click to enlarge. What's the dude in the skirt got under his purse? I can take a guess, but I wasn't in my Irish enough at that point to ask him. He is a cutie.

You'd be surprised at the years that fall off with the right haircut. You'll feel like a new woman! (I don't think I look 50, anyway. I may be wrong.)

I would have guessed 30s at the most.
