Karma? the band cheerleader needs a revision!

Yeah you heard it right. Sorry no personal attacks. now needs a revision after 4 1/2 years!

For those of you that are new, Personal attack is someone that constantly insulted and criticized bandsters for being the problem and NOT the band. Hmmm. Wonder what SHE did wrong to cause her band problems???

She didn't even have the balls to post about it on the Lap-Band forum. She posted it on the main forum and then deleted it! Untill the cache clears you can still see it with the link: No OH drama, please.

No surprise. She will be better off when she gets her revision so I don't feel that bad for her. My revision was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I often wonder about some of the band cheerleaders from the past, like Sandy R.

i would always shake my head when i would read comments that patients will never have a problem, because 'they' intend to follow the rules. OK, that's how it works.

now she's another statistic....that 4yr mark is a magic number these days.

Agree, the 4 year mark seems to be quiet telling about the long-term success (or not) of the lapband.

Agree, the 4 year mark seems to be quiet telling about the long-term success (or not) of the lapband.

I think the four-year thing is for Coming Out. I think that, when people are paying attention and being honest with themselves--difficult at best in a pro-band environment--they will notice the problems sooner. But with the likes of xxx and xxx and others who are criticizing others while having exactly the same problems themselves, people are too busy "taking personal responsibility" and "getting back on the bandwagon."

I wonder if xxxx will still be hawking her book or if another one is already in the works!!! lol

News for xxxx but I followed the rules too and developed esophageal dilation too within a year felt guilty and hopeless until I officially got the diagnosis and realized this will never work just as xxxx is realizing now, I wonder if thats how they got the name realize band (realize its a failure lol)

What REALLY pisses me off is that she claims that severe esophageal dilation and achalasia are NOT the bands fault and in a later post says AND I QUOTE:

"It's so puzzling and frustrating to have this come out of blue. God must have come up with a brand new list of lessons for me to learn!"

So its not the failure of equipment that caused these physical problems even though said equipment is KNOWN for these very specific complications - instead its GODs fault? Gimme a break!

if you were ever on the receiving end of her lectures that you caused your own band problems - it would be easy to laugh at her.

but i'm going to use some restraint & admire pumpkin for giving her the option to join the failed band board. she won't admit failure - because she was at goal, as if those of us who had to revise also weren't.

i just read that she may have slipped again - which she and i went back and forth over the notion that once you slip, your more susceptible to a subsequent one (i had 2). she said it wasn't a given.

btw - i'd say this all to her OvertHere, but i'm on permanent moderation.

those she's wagged her finger at over the yrs, are the ones to help her out most & do so willingly.

Exactly! That's shy she didn't post about it on the Lap-Band forum. She posted on the revision forum. She never came out to the bandsters untill AFTER I brought it up! Then she wants to pretend that it's b/c she didn't want to scare them, or some nonsense like that.

U know RB if she honestly believed all that shit she spews about the band, she would be revising to another band! I think this proves that she knows that the band is a POS and is causing her physical damage.

Is that a joke? How can she think of writing about something she knows nothing about yet??? I remember when her book came out and everyone was acting like she had one a Nobel Prize thinking, she is an expert?? She had the band maybe two years at the time. I have had mine almost 8 and I wouldn't even write a paragraph endorsing it.

The way xxxx has ignored all the band complications and trashed people that try to be helpful and warn others about the band, to me indicates that her only interest is in cashing in on the band to sell her book. I believe that is why she has been known to accuse people of lying about their band issues!

And yes as far as the book title, she mentioned that yesterday I believe it was. Btw.........she claims that all the info in her book is accurate and realistic. Can I hear a LMAO?! ;-)

Well, this was a royal pain in the ass.

When the name of someone you are personally attacking is in the title, EVERY post has to have the title modified. When someone quotes someone who posted a personal attack, or something that identifies who is being attacked, both the original post and all subsequent quotes have to be modified.

I'm not doing this again. This was a huge waste of my time.
