I have been a bitch to my husband, also not a lot of patience’s this evening for my 2 year old that has stopped taking naps this week!!!. I think it’s because I am stresses, excited and tired from my very low card diet.
My surgery is on Tuesday and I know this is irrational but I don’t want to die or have complications.

Your fears are very understandable and not irrational (that would be, say, being afraid a shark would eat you while you were on the operating table). Deaths on the operating table are about as common as a shark attack, and while complications happen, they are not very likely and will be resolved. I had to tell myself that my fears were understandable, but the risks of not having surgery were far greater. You'll do great!! Expect the best.
Oh, and I think giving up the carbs makes monsters out of all of us for a while. That passes.

Hugs. Give yourself some wiggle room. Feeling anxious for any person facing surgery is normal! And yes the carb withdrawals are awful!
