Ok so I still lose hair, but I have regrowth. But its curly. Problem is I have straight hair. So my head is fuzzy but it looks like bad split ends.
Anyone else have regrowth be different hair type?

After I had massive hair loss in my 20's from massive weight loss.. the hair came back very wavy. It has stayed that way since. Not sure if it happens to everyone, I doubt it- but that was my exp.

I had a lot of hair loss with a previous surgery and it got so thin that my aunt had to cut it really, really short. My hair grew back extremely wavy...that was over 5 years ago and it is still wavy/curly! I had hair straight as a board before that.

I think the doctor said that would happen, also said it would be thinner hair? Has this happened?

My hair has a natural curl to it, but the regrowth is straight as a stick. So bizarre.

I'm a bit of a hodge podge because I am on low dose chemo for my lupus and rheumatoid arthritis as well as losing mounds of hair due to the surgery. I can't identify what is the major culprit here. Well, anyway, the regrowth right now is definitely NOT how it was when it fell out. It actually looks like peach fuzz...baby hair, like the kind of fine, feathery wavy stuff you expect on a toddler's head. So I'm sort of waiting to see how that turns out. But for now, it looks at best...odd. Amy
