Damn thought I was going to pass with an A+ this time.
Drat. B1 got me. It's super low. I was the one posting on the other board about what I thought was B12 deficiency (pre labs) with numbness in fingers/feet.
Yeah I guess both do that. I'm taking a multi with B1 in it, my surgeon told me to be SURE I did that.
Is there a better way to get B1? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller....?

My B1 went THRU THE ROOF when I was taking Vitamin Shoppe brand l-tyrosine (that had B1 in it also) amino acid. That's when I found out you *dont* just urinate ALL of the extra Bs.
And TOO MUCH B1 also has the same symptoms of not enough B12. Wurrd, huh?
Girliegirl, go and ask on the lab board down under 'Lifestyle' section. Most of the super helpful lab smarties have been kind enough to be cruising thru there frequently!!
Also, I just read that coffee and tea can inhibit your B1 (damned tannins!) and raw fish.
Anyway, do post down in the labs! It will be good to hear what supaSmarties have to say to you!
GOOD ON YOUR FOR LOOKING AT YOUR LABS!!

My B1 was always in great range until I had my plastics in December. For the first time it fell out of acceptable range. I think that contributed some to the fatigue I was feeling. I started taking a daily B1 to boost it up.
BL, I didn't know that about tannins. Thanx for the info.

oh noooooo coffee??? OMG I may die.... LOL. That's one of my favorite things, my morning coffee with non-fat milk and my SF syrups.
Sniff.
I'll check the lab board - I need to find a better suppliment I bet.

You know the tannins are an issue with calcium AND iron, right? So, just dont take your supplements until at least 2 hours after your last coffee!
That's my fix! People who wake up at Insane O'clock for work, who are me, neez coffee!

I get up between 2 and 3.
