I'm not starving. I am tired still, but that's to be expected. Incisions still a little sore, but getting better. I picked up my son and pulled another muscle, so that's sore again (he was crying, and I'd do it again). All in all, I'm doing well. I can't believe I've lost 20 lbs in two weeks.

My son is two. I do have help most of the time, luckily. It's just that last night was just bad timing as far as help goes, and poor kid needed picking up.

A trick (from when I had my appendix out) is to get down in a safe way like on a pillow and let him climb to you - but put your arm across your belly to protect it. So you don't have ot life. Great job by the way!

Yes, normally I do that. He had hurt himself, however, and instinct kicked in.

I did that with my 15 mo grandson, it's crazy how that instinct kicks in and the brain doesn't register anything else!!!

Congrats on the weight loss. Be careful so you don't develop a hernia.
