Hello. I had vsg surgery on June 21st. I am still having a good amount of pain. Mainly at the insision where my stomach was removed and the one next to that. When I put pressure on them they feel a little better. But I'm walking around with my hand on my stomach all of the time. Also my back is killing me. I cant sleep because my back hurts so bad and makes me so uncomfortable. When I lay on my side it feels like my insides are falling and when I move back to my back they go back. It's very uncomfortable. I go to my doctor Thursday but wanted to see if anyone else has had these problems.

Sorry you are so uncomfortable. Just wanted to let you know, the pressure on your abdomen making it feel better is normal. I did the same thing, it's like we're trying to hold it all in. I also shared the back pain you are experiencing. Hang in there, time will make you feel better soon! I had the DS but the same discomfort you are experiencing.
Feel better soon, Kelly
