I'm so sorry you are experiencing these problems. They shouldn't be occurring. Can you get a patient advocate to help you with this? You definitely need the interpreter and the doctor's office needs to cooperate with that. In all honesty, however, if they won't willingly cooperate, I don't think I would want them to do my surgery. You have some thinking to do... I wish you luck with making the right choices. You should not be discriminated against, I don't like this one bit.

Dr Baker's staff have no respect for deaf patients include interpretation I'm email to woman name Courtney and I told her it's seriously situation message between deaf patients and interpreted also but ADA is mean deaf people and interpreted but never discrimination deaf patients but Courtney owe my apology I'm tired waiting for appointment suppose have on May 18th I don't like wait till August and I told her cancel it! My mom shocking I told her explain on texting and get another surgeon but my mom told me don't write to her again for my health's sakes! But my BMI get huge!
My mom and me had fighting with that woman for weeks and months and I'm disagree with that I'm decide get another doctor my mom told her need respect disabled people like that in previous messages..

Update
I have appointed of dr baker in month with interpreted finally on August 24
I told dr baker's staff about disrespectful as disability in pasts months and (ADA) mean for deaf and interpreted need in appointment and never explicitly as deaf patients..And who I am!
I'm learn that another doctor dr fuller not qualify for weight loss surgery I says oh really but I'm accepted to kept dr baker for surgery same my mom who surgery in 2012
