Roux-en-Y laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery has been performed over two decades. It is one of the most promising and successful types of surgical treatment the enables individuals to achieve and maintain significant weight loss, at times up to 70% or more of their excess weight. The Roux-en-Y bariatric surgical procedure continues to be one of the most commonly performed in weight-loss and bariatric surgery clinics, outpatient facilities and hospitals around the world.

johndean, this is a forum for those that have had the DS or Duodenal Switch or those considering it. It is not for posting the types of information you are posting. If you have had the DS, please, by all means, share with us, ask questions, teach us; but, if not, this is not the forum for you. So sorry but you just don't seem to understand. Your posting to people, who for the most part, have had their surgery and made their decision - this is a support board!
You have a good day, too. Hopefully, you will not feel it's necessary to keep telling us about other procedures. Thanks!

Johndean did post in the Roux-en-y section of the forum so that is correct. I find it interesting, johndean, that you posted here that the gastric bypass surgery is one of the most promising and successful types of surgical treatments. I read through all of your posting history and finally found that you had a VSG back in late October/early November. Why didn't you opt for the RNY if you believe that it is the most promising and successful surgeries. I also find it interesting, johndean, that you continue to post about Placidway. Did you have your surgery through Placidway? Was your surgeon Dr. Jorge Maytorena M.D.? Are you an employee for Placidway? Do that pay you to be a spokesperson?

Thank you and have a woderful day. I can only guess that you meant "providing" information. You are not providing information, though. You are burying links within your posts for the purpose of directing traffic to another site. Scumbags and liars do that, not real people who have lived through the weight loss surgery experience. Most of us here are here to provide help and encouragement to others who are struggling with living with our surgeries, or struggling with the decision to have WLS. You are here to sell something. So, yes, please DO delete your posts. You'll understand if I say that I won't hold my breath, though.
