Is it ok to use liquid vitamins instead? I don't care if I have to take more even!
I take D and skin hair and nails in pill form.

Are you not open to taking your vitamins in capsule form? I've never taken a chewable vitamin, but it doesn't sound very appetizing.
Of the 25 or so vitamins I take every day, only 6 are tablets, the rest are capsules. Not 25 different kinds of vitamins, but 25 total pills/capsules. As an example, 6 of the capsules are calcium.
To be clear, capsules are not the same thing as gel caps. Please refer to your thread of September for a discussion on the difference.
Additionally, have you been able to locate all of the vitamins you need in liquid form? That sounds like a very difficult task.

What kind of potassium should we take? Citrate or the other kind?

What kind of potassium should we take? Citrate or the other kind? Hi, Betty, In the thread "what's in my pill boxes" (or something like that), Goodkel lists Potassium Gluconate as the kind that she uses. I don't know what the difference is between that and potassium Citrate (or other kinds, if there are any), but I'll bet it would be a safe assumption that the Gluconate is good for us DSers. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much for the reply...I had no idea which one to buy. Gluconate is the one then.

I very much appreciate your thoughtful responses. I was directed to use chewables by my dietician provided by my surgeon. I don't feel she understands my specific procedure at all. Can I ask you to specify what it is you are specifically taking in vitamins? I would not be opposed to capsules at all.... Id like to know what multi and calcium you are finding in capsule form
Thank you!

Thank you! No, I have read others views on dieticians in regards to our procedure and this is how I came to this conclusion. I even used some of the material to challenge her view point and concepts. Rather then argue relevant science, she defaulted to my being non-compliant and basically JUST DO IT> I have been balancing two careers since April and haven't been reading material that I now will.
My question about liquids was just because, sometimes I come up with an idea that proves to be a absorption challenge.. like accidently converting to aragon oil based hair nail and skin. I was looking to local access to vitamins in capsule form verses needing to order it from pricier places such as vitamin lady......will read the content
thank you
Oh wow just looking I have not seen much of this... thank you for the lead..... going to rebuild my vitamin stock!
