So I had my first Reclast infusion on Wednesday. The infusion itself was fine - just like an iron infusion. The side effects, however, were definitely not fine. I woke up yesterday and my entire body hurt, head to toe, inside and out. It hurt to breath, move, walk, think. After I took my morning vitamins I felt so nauseous - like I felt right after my DS. Spent the entire day sleeping or just sitting in the recliner. Tried to stay hydrated but drinking anything cold was awful because I also had the chills. Drank hot tea all day.
Today is better. Aches and pains are mostly gone - just a little stiff.
When they say flu-like symptoms, they're not lying.
I guess if it helps I'll live with the side effects once a year. Fingers crossed.

I am sorry you are having a tough ride! They added pain stuff to my infusion in anticipation, and I used brufen liberally the next day or so. I had flu, but not so bad. It was over within 3 days, so hang in there. I have heard of folks being sick for longer.
Give your doctor a call, at least you can suffer in a happy drugged state.

I can now look back and realize I did have it easy. I remember you said it was about 3 days for you, so when I woke up yesterday and felt a little better, I was really relieved. Now let's just hope it works.
