In the weekly weight loss thread - you all had a lot of questions about my labs, ferritin, PTH, iron and Vitamin D levels. So I finally got time to scan them into the computer and here they are. Now I plan on addressing with my primary the Ferritin labs that need to be drawn. I am taking Vitalady's D3 50,000 iu - every other day. In no way am I switching it to 5,000 iu. This was Dr. Greenbaum's recommendation. I will follow up with my primary in March for additional labs to be drawn. Now veteran's please tell me what is missing. I have already given my primary a list of the labs, but she did not seem concerned and said they were "special". Well so is my GI tract and I may need to make her understand a few things since I am her first DS patient.

Cindy, please go on vitalady.com and ready her lists of lab recommendations. And find the labs board here on this forum and read through it. Then see what's missing from your labs.
You have to do your own research and lookups first, please.

You need iron, and you need to increase your protein.
See a hematologist.

I am hitting 150 grams of protein every day. The iron that I take is the Tender Iron that is 5 pills in the morning. I may consult a hematologist in the near future. The labs are not crazy yet. I need to get my primary on board. She is good and loves my weight loss, but we need to get everything under control early. I know I want her to repeat some labs in 3 months.
Thanks.

Your prealbumin is low, your serum protein is low. You need to increase your protein intake.
You need to see a hematologist. Oral iron is not enough for you. This is obvious from your labs, even without the ferritin level.

Thank you for informing me about the iron. I take tender oral iron (5 pills) and this is what came in the 3 month supply from Vitalady. I never thought to look at the dosage or the back of the bottle, but I am only taking 125 mg. a day. So I am switching over to Polysaccharide Iron Complex which will be 300 mg. a day. I will be doing 2 shakes a day 100 gm of protein so hopefully I can hit 200 gram a day in my protein intake.
I will be meeting with my primary in 3 months to repeat these labs and let's see where the labs are at that time.
Thank you for your help.

You need to see a hematologist to discuss infusions. Do not wait 3 months.
