My first day look Wow, just look at you! Have you reached your goal weight? I can't get over the difference between the before pic in your avatar and how you look now. Besides looking so much happier and comfortable in your skin, your beauty really shines.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the new job.
What is good for me might not be good for you but here is how I get myself "going" earlier in the morning:
1) coffee 2) jumping jacks 3) repeat until it's potty time
Also heating pad on tummy

Day four and nothing. I feel things moving at least. Going to buy an enema or something tomorrow. Been too tiered to do anything but go home and sleep this week.
I switched probiotics and was doing low fat so I think that's the cause. I went back to the probiotic I did shortly after my original DS. I'm honestly enjoying the break from living in the bathroom for months.

Thanks Goodkel. Here's one side by side. A bit underweight but trying to gain Unless you are still losing, your weight will bounce back all on its own. Just give it time. If you are still losing and staying there, not normal up/down fluctuations, you should try some Creon to stop losing in a way that won't negatively affect your weight in the long term. I am sure that much of your unwanted loss is related to your recent medical issues and that will correct itself over time.

You look amazing! Congrats on weight loss and new job. How long did it take you to get to your goal? Did you need to have reconstruction surgery at all? Such an inspiration. Thank you for the pictures.

Thank you for the pictures. Not sure about the plastic surgery question here - she's not even 2 years out from surgery so it would be way too soon to consider plastics in any case.

Apologies here, as I do not mean to hijack anyone's thread. However, I would like to ask you is this two year (or more) waiting time you recommend for purposes of the weight loss stabilizing or does it have to do with skin elasticity (not that I expect much on that score at my age)?

You need to reach your goal weight and then have your weight be stable for one year before you do any plastics. This is because your skin will continue to sag after the weight loss, and things will redistribute for a period of time. If you wait, your result will be better and longer lasting.

I agree. I'm 10 years out and I couldn't have worked without the enema solution. I don't do it daily, but it's saved me more than once because I have an hour-long commute. It's not a full-on, high-bowel, massive amount of water. It doesn't take much. It's helped reduce hemorrhoids and has the added advantage of bringing out gas and any residual odor. I use a douche bulb (google it), and that's a tiny amount of water. I do it probably twice a week and always when I'm going to be with people nonstop for several hours.

It's easy, quick, harmless. And I never need laxatives or stool softeners or any such thing.

This is basically what I have always heard, too. Getting all the weight off is one thing, but your skin also bounces back a bit. You won't know what you need until everything has remained stable for awhile.

But, whatever floats your boat...

A Biffy is a bidet, not an enema.

A Biffy is a bidet, not an enema. A Biffy is a bidet with a wand that allows you to direct the water front or back. Positioned just right, it can give you an enema. I use it that way every time I go.

I did not know that. Does the water actually go up your butt? I personally don't think it's a good idea to use an enema every time you go.

A lower pressure will only wash off the outside. The controls are next to the seat and can be operated while you are sitting down. I usually only go once a day and, unless it is loose, there is always something extra up there to be flushed out. I bought it to help me clean my incontinent mother when even baby wipes aggravated her skin. It worked wonders. I have used it for at least the last 6 years of my DS with absolutely no problems at all.
