Dr. Keshishian has been holding a monthly webinar, and this month he was munching on a protein bar. He was asked what kind it was, and he held it up to the camera. It's new - and quite different. Not cheap ($36 for 12 bars PLUS shipping), but they come in many different flavors and have no gluten or grains, no lactose or casein, are low sugar, are non-gmo, made with Stevia, and nothing artificial. Each bar has about 21 gms protein...and well, they taste really, really good! I just ate my first one; I picked the one that I thought I'd like the least out of the 12 pack assortment - Ginger Spice Pecan, and it was truly delicious! They are sold from a private company in Texas. Here's the link if anyone is interested: marigoldbars.pwcstores.com. I wouldn't buy them often because of the price, but they're worth a splurge once in awhile. Thought I'd share this new find! :-)

You're welcome, Monica. :-) I'm really pleased with them. Most every one seems to have some sort of finely chopped nut, and they don't have that distinctive, somewhat unpleasant protein bar taste. Have these ever been mentioned before on the forum? I'm not sure, but I'm glad I tried them!

Certain ones are ARE REALLY good! I wasn't crazy about the coffee one...only because it seemed like I was eating coffee grounds. All in all, they are really different from any of the others out there. They're compact and full of protein. Oh, it's good to remember they must be refrigerated, so the oils don't get rancid. I tried the IQ bar yesterday - with my first bite, I thought YUCK..then ended up loving it. It tastes like butter & coconut, mixed together. I think the website says it best when it describes the bars tasting like candy - they really do. No artificial anything, which is a plus. Hope you all like them as much as I do. :-)

Also if you use the code "nicesite", they will give you a 10% discount through this Thursday! I just ordered three dozen - my third time ordering from them - their bars are great for travel! Some of the bars taste great to me, others I am not crazy about - best to order samplers for first time customers!
