I have never been told that in 14 years.

I have never stopped taking vitamins before labs. My labs still show deficiencies or excesses. If you do decide to stop taking your vitamins before labs, then you need to be consistent moving forward and always stop before labs.

Some people are told that but most of us don't think it is necessary. The most important thing is to do the same thing every time. Personally I stop my vitamins the night before and don't take any the day of the labs until after the draw.

It's annoying but my surgical team wants me to stop at midnight. Also, no eating before labs. *Sigh*
