Great website and thank you for sharing it. I made the sloppy joes last night except I substituted turkey meat and spiced it up a bit with some red pepper flakes for some heat. It was yummy. I will definitely try the lasagna.

I eat regular pasta and it doesn't bother me. (Rice on the other hand....ouch). However - one thing that I do really like, is spaghetti squash and zucchini ribbons. Would it ever trick you that it was pasta? No. But it does have a "toothsome" slippery feel. If you're craving pasta, it might just satisfy that chewy, filling craving you have. I like veggies and squash, so I would eat this stuff simply because I like it. I enjoy it best with a buttery / cheesy sauce, not a tomato based sauce. Here's how I make the zucchini ribbons. It's so easy. Take a green zuchinni. Peel it with a vegetable peeler all the way around. Then just start making long peels, creating ribbons. Stop when you get to the seeds, you dont want those. Then take the ribbons, and dry them a bit with a paper towel. I sautee mine in olive oil, garlic, and butter, and squirt with a little lemon when done.. They are delicious. Pasta - no way. But they are slippery "noodle like", and a good carrier for garlic butter sauce. Here's what they look like when peeled (not cooked yet).
