This biggest change was leaving the wheel chair behind. I walk everywhere now. I go to walmart - no more amigo carts. Being able to buy clothes at regular stores again. My family says I am happier.... But I was never unhappy with myself, just with my health, which I have regained. I went from 14 different pills and up to 8 shots of insulin a day down to just 2 medications, and neither are for weight related conditions. For me, that has been the biggest and best change. Oh and I love being able to eat bacon and butter! That is just awesome! I'm so glad you have reaped the positive results after these few short months. It only gets better, too! Keep up the outstanding progress. |
