I am down to a size 34C in my bra from a 44DD... And yesterday while at the grocery store, we were helping a lady find a yogurt substitute for sour cream...apparently they didn't have the low fat/fat free kind...mentioned that I used the full fat myself...she looked at me and very nicely said...but you don't need non-fat, you are skinny. Yay for random people in the grocery store! That must have felt great! It DID...almost floored me at first tho...dh was with me and just grinned. that must have felt great! I can't imagine that ever happening! It might not happen the same way as mine did but something similar will happen...and you'll be posting an NSV too. Liz |

Thats a great story!! Thanks for sharing some of your success.
I can't wait for things like this to happen to me. My doctors do remark about my visible progress, when they see me once a month. My psychologist was impressed when I brought in a copy of my WL graph from surgery to today. All down ward slope, no rises of gain, even during holiday time. He said everyone he knows gained at least 5 lbs, I lost, only had one cookie not on my diet. I brought in some of my "Beck" diet books he may want to help those people with their diets, they don't have the D.S. like we do ;-)

Here I am at the National Figure Skating Competition in San Jose, Calif. My son is competing today and tomorrow. My skating mom friends haven't seen me in a year. One remarked to my husband the rumor is he has a new friend sitting with him, a new lady. No one recognized me at all, even though I was staring right at them!!! One by one they figured out it was me,and complimented my new look. They can't get used to me being so thin, and neither can I, but I love it!!!

WHAT is an NSV? NSV N=Non S=Scale V=Victory. Since not all progress is reflected on the scale, NSV are another way to measure weight loss success. I hope this explanation helps. MsVee |
