Lovy19 I was a lightweight like you. I started out at 245, day of surgery 239 and I am now 193. I am always cold (no fat to keep me warm LOL). My goal is either 150-155, the weight loss was slow in the beginning but once I got my protein in and water the weight is coming off nicely. Frankie I'm a lightweight too, surgery weight was 234, I lost 6 lbs before surgery. And this is where I want to live, 150-155, though Dr. K says 160 is FINE for me I'll just see how I feel. There are truly SO many NSVs (non-scale victories) that fill you up with joy. Right now I'm fixated on being out of the 2s and never ever coming back here. Hi Sharyl, I know how you feel when you state you want to be out of the 2s, if I could fit a size 12 pants I would jump for joy.

Focus instead on the other changes you will see. Waist size changing first for me. Stomach no longer hits the steering wheel when driving (It's like getting power steering in my truck all over again) Ability to do more and have energy all day long without naps. Hi Mark great advice, Im going to look for changes such as napping because I am always tired. Mark is right. When the pounds weren't dropping off I noticed a big change in my clothing, bra and panties(LOL). I've lost a lot of inches so far.

I actually was able to get into a pair of my size 10 skinny jeans, but I need to lose 10 more lbs in order to button them up (LOL).

I have had the same dreams of waking up one day and going from being 200 pounds overweight, to underweight and sickly. I am sooooo thankful for this forum and all of the vets here. They have all been so helpful in everything!!

I looked a little drawn and thin at my lowest weight. It disturbed me to feel my knees knock together. Now, my face has filled out a little and so has the rest of me. I actually struggle with accepting my bounceback - go figure!
