Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well, I just wanted to post this update because I know it has been a while since I have posted anything. I finally have pictures as well
Life. Hmm, well it has been quite a rideeeeee.
I am now 19 years old and I am almost finished with my HS diploma (taking longer then I thought thanks to cuts in funding for our school, but at least I'm getting it done!) and I am planing on going to UAA (University of Anchorage, Alaska) for about two years and then we'll see from there (I have a 4 year scholarship to any college but they want to keep us "Home grown" for now.) I know a lot of you were wondering what College I had chose. After two years are up I was planning on testing out a new location.
This past Nov. I had a incident where I blacked out of no-where and hit the back of my head pretty darn hard on hardwood flooring, didn't feel a thing until I came to. At that time I was in a very hard living situation and to sum it up I was barely eating (not because of my actions or self neglect, but because I could not afford food) I am very happy to say that I have made it past that point in my life and am living with my wonderful boyfriend on our own and my eating style is healthy and kicking once again lol!
I have had a pretty amazing, horrible and exciting year. I never once forget about my DS altered state, its important for me to remember so I make wise decisions that won't hurt me in the long run. I am about 2 years and a couple months out from surgery and I have lost about 310 pounds, going from 535 to my current 225 pounds. I understand I am still obese but I'm still working on it.
At a later date I will post more in-depth about myself for those of you who do not know me, but to sum it up a bit I started this journey at the age of 14, did my research till the age of 16 and got myself able to have surgery 2 months after my 17th birthday. All on my own
I am now living my life as a pretty much "normal" person, I wear size 16 jeans and 1XL-XL shirts, much better then my size 34-36 jeans and 5-8XL shirts.
Now time for some pictures!!!!
Thanks for reading!!
